While every session delivers some incredible photographs, I am proud to share with you a series of images that are, in my opinion, some of the most wonderful family portraits that Greg has ever created.
The Yang family came to us with a request for a number of different portraits they wanted captured in their session. As many of you know, we tend not to encourage this as Greg insists that ‘the magic’ will happen when we concentrate on one image at a time. Though he typically gives you many to choose from, he is convinced that trying to do too many combinations in one session can dilute the photographs that are created and prevent him from capturing that one truly spectacular image! For this particular family, he was up for the challenge! You’ll also note that this family has older children which allows him more time to create without tiring out our clients!
He is always trying to make his family compositions look natural – as if the camera just happened to be there. The groupings that came out of this particular session are believable, and not at all contrived. Greg is very pleased with the final portraits, and I think you’ll agree, he ‘found’ the magic in all of these!
